agree , totally feel for the guy. hope all goes well obviously family comes first, but as for football matters i personally would have dropped him to the bench for sunday and replaced with darcy.

Lot of respect for Gerrard, when he was on the fringes earlier on in the season saw him interacting with some of the younger fans, throwing the ball to them and getting them to head it back, don't even think he was on the subs bench but still came out at half time in training gear. Made some fans day no doubt. Probably gutted not to be involved but he rose above it.

Hope his lad gets better fast. Nothing more important in life than your own kids.

With the liverpool strikers, we need a bit of pace at the back, and Gerard & Turner wouldn't work in my opinion. Darcy may be the options, or maybe super kev at centre back?!
