Any suggestions on a decent boozer around wembley where there will be city fans, im taking my two older sons to wembley for the first time and we,d really like to head for somewhere with a cracking cup day atmosphere, bit of singing , banter etc. any help would be much appreciated . :D

For my sins I live a few miles away from Wembley. There is a Wetherspoons in Kingsbury that puts up it's prices on 'event' days because it is just a couple of tube stops away from the stadium (yes a Wetherspoons putting up it's prices).

My local Wetherspoons in Colndale on the A5 is a short walk to the bus stop and about another 20-25 mins travelling time on matchdays (normally less than 10mins). The stadium is a can of beer and 10minutes from the bus stop (half the time getting off at the tube station). The pub is never much busier on match days than normal and you get glasses with no queuing.

I can't remember where we got the link when Bolton were playing, but the Met Police normally allocate pubs near the stadium to individual teams.

Doesn't matter where you go near the stadium, they are all crammed on match days and it takes ages to get served. There are loads of off licences near the ground where you can pick up beers for a fraction of the price.

the globe on baker st. is going to be busy. less than 10mins from wembley by tube, or head for harrow on the hill. lots of boozers there and will have plenty of city there.
