I only buy them for internationals.
I've got a blue & white bar scarf with yellow tassels on the end with CCFC on it. Got it from Ninian Park and its going to Wembley with me if I get tickets tomorrow

Should set fire to the scarf, preferably with it still around the owners neck

I've never understood why anyone would want one

To many people its a souvenir....same as buying a programme. Hang them on the bedroom wall, that sort of thing.
Tue Feb 21, 2012 7:22 am
They're just commemorative. I'd buy one to stick in my Wembley box in the attic.
The programme will be half and half. I'll be getting one of those.
Who reckons the programme WON'T be half and half.

I collect football scarves, it doesn't make me a plastic cos I've only ever supported City since first game in 1967. I pick up scarves from other teams both from this country and when on holiday abroad. I've got loads of half and half scarves from special games, fa cup semi, fa cup final play off final wales v england at wembley and last year at mill stad, however I never actually wear the scarf to the game for me thats always the trusted blue one with loads of fag burns, seat D103 on the old bob bank , you know who you are!! Will be buying one for the liverpool game rather than a prog. The only line I draw in this obsession is no Swansea scarves and never will I change that. Live and let live lads its not a crime I'm committing.

The good thing about wearing one of those you can celebrate whoever wins.
