Please spare me the excuses

Sun Feb 19, 2012 2:12 am

I just knew Malkky would bring up the not sending off of their goalkeeper as the defining moment in the game.it may well have been but i think there were a few more defining moments that affected the final result, how about the simple matter that Ipswich scored 3 more goals than we did,how about the defining moment of Malky still not knowing what our strongest team is,how about the defining moment of Malky not having a clue as to what formation we use,how many on here think that whittingham is playing to deep to be really affective and what gives with the long ball tactics, does it make any sense at all to hoof the ball upfield when you know darn well that Miller will not have a cat in hells chance of winning the ball, and finally lets deal with that old chestnut ...the transfer market...is it now apparent that even to Malky's most ardent supporters, another defining moment was when our manager FAILED to strengthen the squad in January even though and Malky admitted this,he had the funds to do so...before i take to my bed it just occurred to me that wasn't Watford known for there long ball tactics......yes Malky history is made up of defining moments,i just think your metal is going to be tested, not just by people like me but by the owners to before the season concludes

What do you both honestly expect from us until the end of the season?

Guys I would not attempt to pretend to be a football tactician but why do we not play Rudy and Kenny up front more often?

In my opinion it would make up for the height disadvantage that Kenny has but also split the defence, and give us more options on the attack

Can anyone enlighten me?

Because Rudy picks up injuries like a tramp does cold chips.

Malky was right to bring the sending off as a game changing decision - have you seen the challenge? If you don't get that going for you, its bound to affect your thinking. Does Malky walk on water - no, of course not. He's made mistakes and is likely to make more, but can he do any right in your eyes? The guy has blended a squad that had barely said hello to each other at the West Ham game in August into a side challenging for promotion and a cup final appearance without spending much, and I'm not goping to say anything on that as its been done to death elsewhere. I think Whitts is the wrong choice for captain and yes he has been less effective recently. However, is that all down to Malky or should the players maybe take a bit of the responsibility too?

Point taken, but what I was really trying to say is I dont like the lone man up front as it reduces our options. Ideally a tall player with Kenny but if that is not possible put mason etc with him.

Kenny by himself is not working particularly with this mindset of the long ball tactic

reguarding strengthening the squad
would you want malky to panic buy
last summer it showed he knows what he's doing on the transfer market
has anyone thought it may be that ipswich played well and done their homework on us
we are still in the play offs with along way to go and in a cup final
stop moaning and support ccfc

Personally I was not moaning buy trying to get some views on why we play most of our games with Kenny up front alone and insist on long balls

I STILL BELIEVE

Blaming the officials after a 3 nil loss does seem lame and personally I didnt think it eas a sending off the ball was over by the touchline.

As for the rest load of drivel. We cannot expect to win every single game.

What bothered me was there was little fight back after going 1-0 down against the run of play,I personally thought it was a sending off and also kenny miller was clearly brought down for a penalty.Another day the decisions may have gone our way but when they dont you just have to come back stronger and more determined and we simply didnt do that for me
the back four were ver y poor

WE NEED MARK HUDSON BACK

Doesn't every manager blame a referee decision but he did also say we were second best, I wasn't at the game so I don't know. We've been on a run of bad form lately simple, everyone keeps going on about the transfer window but the major question is when did the Malaysians give Malky the money and if it was early on in the transfer market then Malky should have brought more in but if it was later on the Malaysians should have trusted him earlier on, as fans we don't know this. Teams have figured us out now and I agree Whitts is playing to deep. But on form we're excellent and can beat anyone, let's just hope as fans it returns soon so we can make one final push for promotion. Keep the faith :ayatollah:
