Just seen the goals on Gillette and the goals conceeded are very poor indeed, mistakes after mistakes. Also players not going with the runners and huge gaps appearing. Two goals from Gerrards side who MUST be dropped for the final, Blake or Keinan or even Kev must play central. In saying this Kevs mistake gave them the third.

its cant all be gerards fault but since hudsons been out and hes been in we just ship goals like rain

Sorry Chris but your post basically says you can't blame Gerard but we've conceded a lot with him playing

No I agree, I think he is the easiest of the players to replace though.

Like I said Kev was also at fault and also midfielders not staying with the runs.

In no way am I blake fan at all but against Liverpool they may have a front three of Kuyt, Bellers and Suarez and we need someone with a touch of mobility especially on such a big pitch

You know how the saying goes.."you never know what you've got till it's gone".

By and large Hudson is a quality C/B, he has his faults like most Championship players but is a good steady eddie IMO and if fit must play at Wembley.

i know it looks a bit contradicting im just saying other members of the team are playing badly but its just since gerrard has come back in that it seems to all be down to him if that makes sense lol

I wouldnt say poor but certainly not not showing his best form, way better than any other RB we have though. I thought his performance against P'boro was his best of the season

Agree - he did have a very good game against the Posh. For me, it seemed he had been told to hold back on his and concentrate more on his defending, which he is much better at. To be fair though, his crosses were miles better on Tuesday night than most of the season too. Just seemed form the TV pics that he could have prevented their third goal today and he has been prone to those sort of lapses this season.

Yeah I agree pretty much with all that.

One thing I would say is yes his crossing can be pretty off at times but his work rate means he is up and down, up and down and has the opportunity to put in more crosses.
