Chin up - Swans away form last season

Sat Feb 18, 2012 5:14 pm

(22nd February, Swansea won 1-0 at Coventry... remaining away fixtures)

Scunthorpe 1-0 Swans
Derby 2-1 Swans
Preston 2-1 Swans
Burnley 2-1 Swans
Portsmouth 0-0 Swans
Millwall 0-2 Swans

4 away defeats in a row for the Swans around this time last year, 2 of those defeats were against teams who were relegated. All the doom and gloom merchants came crawling out of the woodwork like it was the end of the world, it wasn't. We only managed 1 away win after February 22nd last year, it was our home form that kept us chipping away.

Same went for Manchester United winning the prem last season, 3 or 4 wins away from home all season, worst away record, best home record. Some fans need to get a grip. If shitty Swansea can get promoted with worse away form than us

Cheers for the info. Personally I don't think we are quite good enough. We needed 2 new players in transfer windowto inject pace/power into team. We failed to invest and are now paying the price. If we can bring in a few loan players we can still go up.
