Hudson and turner work better at the back than Gerrard and turner, no question about it. During this blip where huds has been out the defence has been to blame. Hudson is a natural captain that marshals the back for and if any midfielders don't help defensively he lets them know about it. Whitts as a captain is silent.

I did say that i agreed with you, but there are other factors not just the one. conway not starting, Mcphail out its all part of it and the carling cup got to be playing a part om their minds

Conway may have been resting or pulled up in training like Rudy, Macca is out of anybody's controll but he has stated that he can come in to play a game whenever needed and can be dropped again just as quick. If the final was playing on their minds we would have lost to Peterborough or not have created the 25+ attempts on goal.
