LAUGHING STOCK -could have long term impact

Sat Feb 18, 2012 4:51 pm

As a lot have stated - we are a mid table side that punched above their weight
But never kicked on in Jan.
Should the Final next week become a demolition and we become a laughing stock
This will humiliate us fans but won't it have big implications in Malaysia.

With Whitts surely leaving in the summer - could we struggle getting Season tickets sales
And investment??

This sounds really doom and gloom - I'm not trying to be like this.
I will always be there but I'm just concerned about fans not wanting to be associated
With a humiliated club, plus the CCFC Malays also getting humiliated in their quest
For dominance on their turf.

I'm seeing Jack tracksuits in places I've never seen before
Could the shock of a battering, hit us long term???

just a bunch of spoilt brats tbh, I used to think we had the best fans in the world but last two years they mostly just make me feel embarrassed

I know it looks like a shit thread post.
Honestly don't mean it to be read like I've just spat my dummy out.
I think my angle is the cash.
If the malays are bailing us out and we (the stadium) need x amount of fans to turn up.
For turnover and income, espcially if Blues stop paying rent.
Would a battering have an impact?

We have a small squad
The Malaysians are going to leave
We wont win another game
We are going to get relegated
Iran will bomb us
We're doomed

Ridsdale/Jones out!

Couldn't agree more Luke. It's these people that hold our club back.

I actually think our team will be up for the game next week BIGTIME and I also think we have a real shot of winning. Forget whats happened the last few games we are better than whats been on show.

Also think the 5 home games in March will have a huge impact on our season. Whatever has happened these last few games I still firmly believe we will make the playoffs and when we do we will be plenty strong enough for whoever we have to play.

This is all Dave Jones' fault.

If he had just got us relegated none of this expectation would be here.

Damn him for being a much better manager than most people on here give him credit for.

I dont think ive said 'we're doomed' or the 'malaysians will pull out'.

in fact, im quite content with where we are (although fustrated we never gambled, but respectful of financing)

If you want to use me as enemy number one for asking a question SHOULD we battered (not when we get battered) - then go ahead.

If you want a pop - remember - ive been there in 2000 crowds and will do so if that ever happens again - and i will sing my heart out and spend my money following city.
ive had brilliant memories and see a bright future if the status quo remains.

just seen so many bullshitters around this club - thats why the question to start the thread.

if this disgusts you then so be it

Thats the fuckin spirit mate - love it

i dont think i should have wrote the thread - but have had concerns for weeks that we get battered in front of millions.
we'll more likely put up a good show - its jsut one game tbh- its probably my lack of knowledge on just how much we get bankrolled and if we can stand any bullshit especially in the light of rangers, pompey etc

FFS! - How predicatable!

Malky rebuilds club in a tomato-season & works a miracle - long term looks good, everything to play for, a league cup final against Liverpool next weekend...........and as soon as the final whistle blows on Saturdays events, the mood-hoovers are at it.

So cue: Woe is me, Whitts will go, The end of the world is nigh, Its too cold outside, We are going into recession again, Its too hot outside, Everythings too expensive, Iran/China/Pakistan will start a nuclear war, The Malaysians will depart, That not real music, My piles are weeping (again), Pass me the cyanide etc etc etc....

Whereas Actually : Every Little Things Gonna Be Alright.

C'mon City :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Well ive seen nothing at all to suggest Witts will leave in the summer, he loves in here, he isnt the type to go searching for the lime light.

Investement, well the Malasysians are pumping considerable money in and we have a new board member who has money connections.

ST Sales, we have 9000ish by mid February, not to shabby lets be honest.

This typifys our supporters nowadays

If Cardiff City lost ten nil next week it would have NO impact on
what the Club means to me whatsoever.

If a shit result has people wondering why they bother then they can
f**k off

And i hope they do.

i get what you are saying no i dont think getting hammered next week will change anything regarding malasia or next seasons, season tickets! did arsenal fans slit wrists when humiliated by utd or utd against city no! everyone of us have been there over the years so if get stuffed 6-0 so what upwards and onwards for rest of season, as for whitts every player has is price so wait and see, never know might get better player instead??
