Was it only me who thought that was a really bad decision?

He was constantly drifting into the middle and ignoring his wide position, allowing their left back to push forward way too much too often.

He wasnt on the right lol. He was on the right side of a diamond. Players on the left and right aren't wide.

I mentioned this in my player ratings, its a hard position to play.

I think he did well but he isnt as effective wide of the diamond

i dont think malky will use this formation regularly. I think something needed to be done after recent performances and Rudy caused havoc with them earlier in the season til he went off injured and in fairness he did again

Agree and Disagree, the role wide is a hell of a lot more work than that in the middle, the likes of Conway, Cowie and tonight Gunnar have an impossible job at times having to do two players jobs.

Totally agree he is more effective in the middle, tbh I didnt see the point in the newcastle boy coming in.
