Not sure if its been posted earlier but how do people feel about him representing Wales, personally I feel he would be a brilliant addition to the squad and is a quality goalscorer. Hope he becomes available for us.

think we need another striker who can score goals, we have a great midfield, but are lacking a little depth upfront.

If it is true that he can play for Wales, get him on board. He is better than any other strikers Wales have got at their disposal.

bloody hell,clutching at straws....doesnt say anywhere there that he is .

obviously wales are just looking into it, and ive not heard where he would qualify, however they must have some lead as why bother investigating otherwise.

Link doesn't really say anything, it would be a welcome addition though. Morison has to be first choice the way he is playing mind.

Scotland thought he was eligibile for them through his grandfather who lived in the Scottish borders, this turned out to be a false lead as he was born in Berwick but during this search hooper has looked into where all his grandparents were born. Something must have come up if the Welsh fa have suddenly become involved. He might turn us down if he feels he has a chance of England caps anyway.

I believe Gary Hooper's maternal grandmother was born in Hawarden, Flintshire. Can he be persuaded to play for Wales? There are a few other possible 'Welsh' players who could play for Wales and moving up the FIFA rankings with a chance of qualifying for the world cup is certainly persuasive.
