Last Saturday in Cardiff?????

Was there some sort of Gay Pride march ?? -- lot of people in the city, some wearing red and a few in dark blue with skirts on. In fact the 'red wearers' extended their fancy dress to beer bellies and white stilletos with flowers around their heads. don't know if there was anything else going on in Cardfiff so it must have been the Mardi Gras??
