welsh national anthem

During are f.a cup run are voices where heard when ,we requested the welsh anthem be sung, after a lot of discussion it was sung, will this happen this time round in the final

To be fair to them we are playing in an English pyramid system, hence why GSTQ is played.

They "allowed" us to play Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau for the FA cup final, despite the fact that most City fans didn't seem to care one way or the other, so i suspect they will play ours to this time.

I would suggest that many Welsh City fans don't know the Anthem. As proved by the pitiful singing of it at Welsh football games>

Yes we are playing in the English club and in the English pyramid system but it doesn't change the fact we are a welsh club. They invited us as a welsh club and should respect that decision and play both

I don't think national anthems should be sung in club finals, I think it should only be for international games.

Indeed. Quite a few on here know the words but its the other groups of fans dont. I've just turned 16 and know the words, been supporting City for 7 years, yet theres people who have been supporting almost all their lives who dont know the words.

I'm 17 and know all the words, it should be our anthem but I'll never understand why a lot of our fans won't learn the words. I think it will be played anyway, I'm pretty sure it did the last 3 times we were there before kick off.

it should be played most definetly,we play in the english leagues and most of our players arent welsh but 31000 people in the stadium will be(or english settled and living in wales like myself)
