Disappointing Performance

Sat Feb 11, 2012 8:44 pm

At the game today and it was a very disappointing performance. We did not start to play football until Leicester scored and the second half wasn't a lot better.

It's not being negative but the lack of ambition will catch up with us and on this performance and form there is no way we will make the play offs. Let's hope things get better. Peterborough score goals for fun and Ipswich away is not an easy game. :ayatollah:

Lack of ambition? Being in the Carling Cup final is lack of ambition? Being this high up in the table during a season that was meant for "Restructuring and league stability" is lack of ambition?

I will agree however that our form is dipping and the performance rate is going down hill, but then again teams have noted who our strongest players are and are working hard to stop them having an impact on the game. (that and dodgy ref's and lino's  )

When you get so close to the top of the table just a couple of decent signings would make a great deal of difference. The team have done great to get where they are but those extra faces may have increased our chances to get to the promised land. :old:

They may have, or they may have been as effective as Eddie Johnson or JLS or Kelvin Etuhu or Solomon Taiwo. They may have disrupted team spirit and they may have even brought an ego to the team that was unwanted. Malky was in talks with players, it was the players and teams own greed the blocked the moves
