What we miss at the moment

I don't know if this has been posted recently. What we miss at the moment is real leadership on the pitch. When Hudson and even Macca aren't available I believe the team will struggle. I'm a huge fan of whittingham but he certainly isn't a skipper. The sooner Hudson can return the better.

I agree that we need a proper leader back on the field, but what doesnt help at the moment is teams are becoming aware of how dangerous Whittingham is in the midfield and are putting extra pressure on him to stop him from being as effective, happened at blackpool and today

I'd like to see Gunnarson as our skipper.

I dont think Gunnarson would work as a skipper just yet, however, i would like to see Turner being given captaincy. He marshalls the defense whenever you see him play and is always very vocal

Turner is certainly more vocal than Hudson - I don't know why but I think the players would respond better to Gunnarson as he is tenacious and to me epitomises the never beaten spirit in the team.

I totally agree on that, def missing a leader.

As much as Gunnarson is a tenacious player and plays with that spirit, he isnt overly vocal on the pitch. He is a player that would lead by example and through how he plays (much like Whittingham and Kev when they have been captain). Hudson is a good captain as it stands, Turner though seems to have a leader like spirit about him and i can see him being given captaincy in the coming years

I think were missing a player with a few tricks. Like Taarabt at QPR. Obviously he wouldn't join us, but someone like him who can create something out of nothing.

Yeaa a player with some cheeky tricks, and also a forward with height and more experience than Gestede.

I'd like to see a physical striker, someone like Ricardo Fuller or S Ebanks-blake.
