After the redknapp trial holloway came out on sky sports news and said he has received bonuses for player sales including the adams move to liverpool,Barry hearne also said he was quite happy to pay his manager 10% bonus if he turned a young player into a million pound transfer..
So apparently this is commonplace so now when we hear that managers are keen to blood young players is this so they can earn a nice bonus if they sell him on?
Think all fans will be asking their manager do you receive bonuses for selling our best young players not a question they can avoid easily.
I won't be as cynical as to suggest that malkay is blooding a lot of young players but if this had come out earlier it might have been interesting to have put the question to him on the webchat yesterday is it in his contract he gets a percentage of any transfers.
