One of the best features of Heaton's game is his coming off his line and helping out his defence!
Marshall was guilty of not coming off his line enough against Blackpool, so you shouldn't judge Heaton on one mistake at Palace!

He was doing it at the second leg so thats more than once, sure he made those mistakes at times last season too. Hes a good keeper dont get me wrong, seems like he gets nervous tho.

He did fine in the second leg, didn't make any mistakes in that game and had very little to do anyway!
Part of a goalkeeper's job is to come off his line and help out the defence and this aspect of his job was better than Marshall's last season!
As I said, don't judge him on one mistake!

Heaton for me because he's a great communicator and because he does come off his line, less mix ups when Heaton between sticks than Marshall, regularly see him having exchanges with Turner, Hudson & Gerrard (not quite at Forest level).
I think we're fortunate to a few good keepers!

Marshall has played at Wembley and didnt exactly have the best experience
For young players like Heaton who has played a massive part getting here deserve to start! It will be a memory for him to walk out and play at Wembley against a top team!

Don't know how anyone else feels, but after Heaton's heroics to get us to the final and Marshall costing us goals against Portsmouth and Blackpool, maybe it's time to give Heaton a run just to give Marshall a reminder that if he doesn't perform, he's dropped? Also, Heaton's confidence will be sky high after the Palace game and he will be relishing a run in the team right now. As already said, we have 2 good keepers and I think it's nice to have the luxury of using one keeper for the league and another for the cup witout weakening that area of the team. Great attitude by Marshall as well by the way.
