MediaWales Webchat With Malkay

Wed Feb 08, 2012 7:25 pm

Malkay has certainly had a busy day today what with the Real Radio Sports Phone In and his webchat on MediaWales. Unfortunately I missed the Sports phone in but when I get a chance I shall listen to it on Real Radio Player.

Anyway I did watch the webchat and must say he come across really well which would surprise few of us. Anyway I thought up what I thought was a good question and he was gracious enough to answer.

I asked what had pleased him most and disappointed him most during his time at the club. He answered he was most pleased with how quickly the team had gelled and was most disappointed everytime we lose. Not to much disappointment then. ;)

But for me the most interesting question was asked by someone called "Pug" who asked Malkay If he thought rumours on potential transfer targets on internet messageboards was damaging the clubs chances of signing players.

Malkay answered that internet messageboards were something ALL clubs had to deal with but that he felt it was important for people to differentiate between information which was from a good source and information which was from a bad source.

I thought it was a brilliant answer and clearly shows that Malkay doesn't believe that anyone who posts rumours or maybe even updates does damage the club. He asks only that we consider how good is the source and on this messageboard we are lucky enough to have Carl.

Keep up the good work Carl. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Thanks Craig hopefully that statement from Malkay, which is so far detached from the previous idiot who managed our club, will put to bed forever this nonsense about Carl damaging our club.
