Had same sort of problem last year, wouldnt let a boy from Merthyr play over in Aberdare, even though he had been to every club in Merthyr who said they didnt want him. Common sense finally prevailed after i sent a letter full of spiel about obesity epidemic and surely they would want him training and playing rather than hanging round on the streets. I suggest you write a letter of your own. :ayatollah:

The Welsh FA is an organisation run by old farts totally out of touch with grass roots football. They need to look at the structure of the committee and bring it into the 21st centary.

School and youth football is the future of this country and needs structure and finance. In these days of monitory strife expenditure needs to be looked at. I wonder if they will publish all the free trips on expenses and how many Olympic tickets they will get!!!!!!!

Pigs and troughs come to mind.

Is it me?

The UK is ruined by bureaucracy, even at low levels like the above sports organisations. Simple solution, get a harsher government like the Egyptians and close them down!

Is it Cardiff City? If so they are in the English league whilst playing in Wales. That is more than enough confussion for your average FA person to get their head around. I'm suprised you had it that simple.

Is he registered to play for an English team then or maybe Cardiff City if they are governed by the English FA?

When I moved to Bath and signed up for a team in the Western Premiership, the team had to apply for International Clearance...made me feel like a celebrity.

If he's not registered with an English club (or maybe Cardiff City), it just doesn't make any sense to me.

It does to me. It means they earn money, because they're bound to charge for such made up nonsense.

I thought every player who now plays local league all the way through to Welsh Premier League now has to have International clearance? I know I needed it at the start of the season even tho I'm fully Welsh along with 54 players in my Team, maybe because of SWFA Intermediate cup?
