What does this mean exactly?
Renewing Ambassadors who purchase 2012/13 Season Tickets prior to Thursday 9 February will be eligible, "subject to availability and conditions", to purchase a ticket to the Carling Cup Final.
If 8000 tickets are renewed so far, at the point that the 10,000th season ticket is renewed they should make clear to everyone purchasing after that point that the deal has been closed or may not be available.
When you read the terms and conditions it says.......
"the first 10,000 Ambassadors who renew their Season Ticket by February 9th are also, subject to availability on a first come, first served basis, eligible to apply to purchase a second Wembley ticket"
Not sure what this means? If your in the first 10,000 your in the first 10,000, why is it subject to availability?
Is first come first serve the 10,000 renewals or the 10,000 available cup tickets? to me it should be 10,00 renewals but the wording is a bit ambiguous. Anyone know the exact position?

because in essence i guess
31,000 tickets how many will club take upfront + premier club members say 2000 for arguement sake
= 29,000
4,000 brand new season ticket holders all guaranteed one ticket
=25,000
- 18,000 current season ticket holders all guaranteed one ticket
=7,000
so the only the first 7,000 ambassadors that renew could possibly get an extra ticket and not the first 10,000

I have it on excellent authority that the first 10,000 (or up to that figure) will deffo have 2nd ticket option and the club's ticket database is updated as people renew their STs. The reason they say 'subject to availability' etc. is to cover them if someone happens to miss out. 'We never guarantee things any more, for obvious reasons, but, off the record, you will definately be asked if you want a second ticket if you are in the 1st 10,000 renewing' - those were the actual words spoken when i asked.

but how can that be physically possible??
as from the above example if there a number of new season ticket holders which are guaranteed one seat it cannot happen
see my example??

I have heard that the first 10,000 will virtually def get a ticket, they are just covering themselves if staff etc make any slight mistakes.

Thats exactly what i heard Annis, 99.99% certain but to cover themselves, 'subject to availability clause added in case of mistakes.
First 10,000 ambassadors (renewing) including premier club = maximum of 20,000 (assuming they all want 2, and assuming 10,000 renew)
other 8,500 current ambos (including premier club) = maximum of 8,500 tickets
= 28,500 (assuming all 10,000 renew and take up 2nd ticket option)

Andy
what happens if there are 4000 new season ticket holders - who are guaranteed a ticket?

birdy,
Ambassadors have up to Thurs to renew and be one of first 10,000, and so do new ambos.
Ahhhhhh, i see what u mean.....if more NEW ambos join up AFTER the 10,000 mark. Got it mate.
Think the club would keep honouring the 'Wembley ticket for every ambo' til, say, 29,000 has been reached
(remember not all will want extra, and lots of those who do may well be buying for present ambos not renewing yet) - They will keep tabs on everything through database. The main man said that they would not make a mistake. Not deliberately contradicting u all the time mate, just saying what an impeccable source told me a few days ago

Looks like the Ticket Office may have fooked up.....sounds a bit like one of the Riddlers ideas.

If im correct 19,000 odd season ticket holders this season ,the max season ticket holders we can have is 22,000 odd so thats only 3000 more
19,000 =1 ticket
10,000 =can have 2 tickets =29,000 so that leaves 2000 tickets left available ,so the way i see it you would need the full 10,000 ambassadors to renew plus 2,000 new season tickets before there would be a shortage of tickets there is one day left with 8,000 been sold so unless they sell 4,000 more in one day evey one should be ok .(if thats right )

I took out my new season ticket on the day they came out.
Finance forms only came yesterday say for example I send back and they get them after the 10000 is reached what stands first the day I got my fan number when I got the ticket or the day the forms are received.
Cheers

We have an allocation of 31,000, so if all season ticket holders have a ticket and the extra 10,000 renewals take there's then there's only 3000 left. This needs to be split between new season ticket holders, family and friends of players at the club, sponsor etc. Its going to be tight but will probably work out, the only really major issue is how many NEW season ticket holders we get for next year, If its over 3,000 then the ticket office have a problem.

A lot of season tickets bought so far, at least 700 are new season ticket holders for next season.
