Cardiff City players

I can't remember a time when there was not one Swansea City player who wouldn't get into the cardiff city side, even when you were a championship side and we were league 2 there was always at least 4 players who would get in your side.

Currently there is not one Cardiff City player good enough to get into Swansea's squad let alone first 11. I know we'll get the usual blah would walk in and blah is better than blah blah. Fact is there is no Cardiff Player good enough for our squad.

What are your thoughts on this and would you like to see done to remedy this awful problem of yours?

I'd possibly take Kenny Miller on trial with a view to warm the bench, but other than him I don't think there is a single Cardiff city player fit to lace Tatey's boots.

zzzzzzz...just to answer your question, whittingham and turner.

As a Premiership team you would have to be quite worried if we had more players that could get into your team than vice versa. I'd say Whittingham, Turner, McNaughton and Cowie could get into your side but after that no-one really.

I can face facts and admit that right now Swansea are the better side but like I said you are in the Premiership and if that wasn't the case then I'd be very concerned for you. I know it's hypothetical but I do think if we got to the Premiership then we would attract better players than you have. The simple fact being that it's because we are a more attractive proposition being a capital city and closer to cities in England.

However, does that mean if we'd got promoted we'd be doing better than you have been? Impossible to tell. Possibly not.

I'd certainly add Heaton or Marshall, and gunarrson and Miller.

Comparing the two first teams I wouldnt swap your full backs and midfield for ours. I am quite happy with mcnaughton, Taylor, cowie, Gunnarson and whitts and don't think there is much to choose between them and your lot. In defence and attack your players obviously win, I think caulker, williams(when not scoring own goals) and Vorm are better than our equivalents. And up front graham and Sinclair beat miller and Conway although I would go for mason over dyer. We've also got Ralls who I think will be a very good player. Your problem will come in the summer if some of your better players are offered 30-40k per week contracts elsewhere that your wage structure won't match. Caulker will also be back at spurs and you'll unfortunately have to play Tate again.
