we're going to need a couple of loans to secure a place in the play offs, even if we finish 3rd we need to avoid having a disadvantage over the three games due to our burnt out small squad of players either being injured or fatigued,

Although I agree with you that we need players in to boost the squad. I don't think you can say that we are in shit street, it was out first poor performance in some time and only our 5 defeat of the season.

We've lost 5 league games so far this season, which is fewer than anybody else in The Championship. I know what you're saying is realistic but, if we've slipped out of the play-off positions by March, then he probably needs to look at more recruitment then, I think.

There are 21 teams behide us and lost the least in the league. Its not all doom and gloom.

Thankfully Malky Mackay is a bit more pragmatic than some of our fans. I'm sure he will be disappointed by the performance yesterday but I've got faith in him that he can coach this set of players.
Having said that, if we were willing to pay out substantial transfer fees the other day, then clearly there is money to fund loan players. We just need the right players, who are available and want to come to us.

RMFH , we've played 2 top 6 sides back to back and looked the lesser team on both occasions,

if this is our strongest side and were going to be playing teams such as blackpool or birmingham, and we're going to let teams have 15-20 efforts at our goal , we have problems

We have beaten West Ham away, Birmingham, got 4 points off Southampton, 6 off Reading, a point away at Blackpool (really should have been 3). Oh yes and we are in the League Cup Final.
