Yesterdays result…a blessing in disguise?

Sun Feb 05, 2012 7:36 pm

Perhaps the owners, Malkey and us the best supporters in Britain were being lulled into a false sense of security that we could achieve the double with the players we had? --diolch yn fawr iawn Blackpool----you have given everyone at the club the kick up the arse we needed and this will now mean that we will go into the loan market to get exactly what we need to help achieve our goal of Premiership football for the Capital City of Wales ( coz lets be honest, no one out side of Townhill gives a flying fek about Swansea Town) and winning the carling club against the plastics.

Lets dust ourselves down, re-group, bring 2 or 3 quality reinforcements in and make this a season to remember and bring pride to our wonderful capital city and all of Wales (except Townhill)

good post-sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forwards. Reality checks are needed and we have no divine right to success. Hopefully Leicester are there for the taking (no Danns or Beckford next week) plus the loan market is open and Malky can bring in a player or 2.

I was going to say something along those lines - were we perhaps a bit complacent yesterday? Or have we become complacent regardless of the opposition nowadays? We must make sure it never happens.

At the moment, we've lost less games than anyone else in The Championship. I don't think that's cause for concern and we've still got a long way to go before the end of the season.

I've got to say, though, the sooner we get Wembley out of the way, the better. I didn't want us to get this far in any cup competition, I just wanted us to go all out for promotion.

Whatever happens, it's still a much better season than many I've seen since 1976 when I started watching the City, so it's not all doom and gloom from me - far from it.

Great post. We are still only 2 points behind second place. Leicester game has become a massive game so lets stop whinging and get behind Malky and the boys.

Great posts fair play, we can do them next week without Danns and Beckford, they are a dodgy team. We haven't won many away games but I think we can do this one. :) :ayatollah:

lets be honest though.

the loan market we seem to come out second best every time, like cup finals

I wouldn't build hopes on anything happenin in this period if we can bring in 3 good loans, i'l be fu'cking gob smacked.

Yes, but maybe this team is good enough and just had a bad day.

Who would you replace, if you could?
