This has come from someone I used to work with at City and having checked it out with a few people I know that follow Everton religiously, they too have heard of this. According to them, he's desperate to play football and has recently fallen out with David Moyes as he's not played enough despite actually being their top scorer. His appearances are set to become fewer with the signing of Jelavic and the return to form and fitness of Anichebe.
I'm sure that Carl and/or Annis can back this up if they wish to as I believe it's going around the club.
He's a big lad and the Everton followers have said that he'd do a really good job in the Championship. They actually think it would be good to get him out on loan and get some games under his belt

I would much rather a youngster who has something to prove and work his balls off for the shirt and the cause than to have that pussy spending most of the game on the floor or moaning to the referee.

He is meant to be lazy, if he sorts his work rate will be a good premiership player. Read an article about him recently Everton so frustated with him as he is looks quality.
