I said the same yesterday, But without going over the top, I would stay keep marshall for a few weeks

i think maybe heaton will play in the final,keeping him on a high,if heaton was to have a bad game now,we got 1 keeper with no confidence and 1 that has been dropped,just my opinion

There was the one where he dropped it and the one where he ran back to his goal when if he stood still the ball would have landed at his feet but they didn't score from these. His punch from the corner wasn't great but the second clearance from a defender was awful. I would keep faith with him for a while yet.

Marshal made the same mistake as in the play off final,weak ounch which lead to a goal .

I agree, I'm starting to prefer Heaton.

Stick behind Scotland's no 1, Tom Heaton was superb in the Penalty shootout, but lets not go overboard here as he was very dodgy during the game. His command of the area on crosses was very poor. Marshall is our No1 keeper. We have lost one match here lets not go fooking potty by throwing all the toys out of the pram

good post , just think in recent form i maybe would try heaton but thinking about it now one bad game doesnt warrant being dropped , i would hope Marshall can improve on yesterdays performance and im sure he can . But if the dip in form continues then i would try Heaton because i think a bit of competition is only good for the team and fighting for places can also inject some friendly battles for a team spot.

I am not sure why but I always have a dodgy feeling whenever Marshall and Gerrard are in the same team. There's something about Gerrard that give Marshall the gitters.

Yesterday he did punch weakly but it fell to Gunnarrson who should have cleared it. Instead his weak clearance fell to Phillips who was unmarked (someone should have been on him) and he had an eternity to control, shoot and score.
