For our club. We are currently unbeaten in 9 matches away from home and to put that into some sort of perspective we have only achieved that twice before in our history in seasons 1991/92 and 1959/60.

Only once in our history have we managed 10 away games undefeated and that was during season 1946/47 where we achieved a remarkable 9 wins and one draw in away matches between 18th September 1946 and 8th March 1947.

Our team this year has already entered the all time record book for our club by reaching the Carling Cup Final for the first time in our history. Before that we have two away games at Leicester and Ipswich, which for some reason the FL have placed as successive away games for the 3rd season in a row, and in the last 2 seasons we have lost both games.

What happened yesterday cannot be changed and is now part of our history but given everything that this team has managed this season can we not only equal but break an all time record for our club.

I think we can, we haven't become a bad team overnight and I think it puts into perspective how much our Manager and team hae achieved so far this season. Breaking two all time records in one season would be a truely remarkable achievement and will open up the opportunity for a third reaching the Premier League for the first time.
