The Ayatollah RIP?

Sat Feb 04, 2012 11:26 pm

Whats happened to the fun and uniquely ours Ayatollah? I tried to get it going in the canton today, as usual all to no avail, usual generic boring chants. Its an impressive sight when the stands get it going in unison, like at Upton Park earlier in the season. Why has it died a death?A regular sight at Ninian from stand to stand. Even the away fans were called into action. Lets get a mass ayatollah at Wembley going eh? :ayatollah:

Thankfully.

That people feebly cling on to something so antiquated is rather embarrassing. I firmly believed that we had moved on; that you have highlighted this lack of participation can only be a good thing.

The Ayatollah will never die. You get a few snobs and people thinking they are to mature to do it and everyone who does it is shameful. But its part of Cardiff City and always will be. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The Ayatollah is Our's. I believe some Fans think a certain FA Cup song ridiculed the Ayatollah, But it is distinctive and the hole of Football know it! :old:

So, do we keep anything?

I know, let's drop "I'll be there" and just change everything week by week, like some kids affected by attention deficit syndrome.

If anyone wants to know why the atmosphere is affected at our stadium, just read the message boards. Every time someone suggests something new, it gets shot down and all the existing things get pretty much the same treatment.

Please, someone, support the City at Wembley - I don't want to be the lone singer!
