And trying to get it perfect for Wembley. How about learning the words to our anthem Men Of Harlech, which is sung before every game and sung away. Seems a bit stupid trying to perfect a dreary song that sounds like we're losing judging by the lyrics.

I have tried and tried and tried but the lazy sods wont learn the words
. It took me ages to get them to learn dah dah dah dah ETC

Totally agree mate.If we just learned a verse and the chorus it would be something,god its not that mentally challenging.

For me it's not a football song.....I felt more like in chapel when we were trying to get it going.
Although I like the concept of a Marley song, with his Cardiff links.

I like Three Little Birds but Men of Harlech is, in my opinion, OUR song.

The Marley song is so dreary, and sounds so downbeat and is inevitably applicable when there is something to worry about - i.e. a close game which is important for us to win, and it makes me feel worried when I hear it sung.
Men of Harlech on the other hand is a song that goes back to the start of the Sam Hammam days for us and would have a really stirring quality to it if only people would learn the words - I always try to sing them, but its very hard to when you've got people doing 'n,na,na,na,na,na' around you!
We've had a sticky for the Marley song, and in fairness in just a couple of games we did seem to learn that - it's just that it sounded too downbeat - why on earth not have a sticky for Men of Harlech and perhaps peop,e would learn it and that would sound spine-tingling.
