I walked away quietly from the game tonight really gutted as I could see that my anger at us cocking up on not signing anybody decent had come home to roost. I can see us being in the play offs, at best, unless he gets some decent loan signings in at the START of the loan window.

Very odd if true as Gerrard is not good enough. IMO Hudson, Keinan and Blake should be ahead of him.

Absolutely 100% true, my son heard him say exactly the same thing, and we are both amazed! Which defender's contracts are up in the summer, would this have any bearing? I agree that with the performance today, Keinan could be worth a shout.

Hudson signed a new deal about 2 weeks ago.
Gerrard has 18months I think
