THE LOAN WINDOW OPENS

Opens 8th February until 24th March, lets hope we take full advantage of this window to strenghthen the squad, otherwise its goodbye to a top 2 finish and quite possibly the play offs. We are looking jaded and need some refreshments on the playing side, yes i know its only one loss but its plain to see we need more bodies added to the squad.

Apparently we had a few million to spend, so no excuses this time, there ARE players out there available on loan who ARE good enough for our first team, lets utilise the facility and get some quality in.

Onwards and upwards, stroll on next week.

Don't think that the players are there. All the decent players have been taken. e.g Maynard 1.6 mil. There are very few decent players who are going to be available for a loan. Even QPR with all their strikers are not releasing Mackie, Smith, etc.

The deals needed to be done in the transfer window but we did not take that opportunity when other clubs around us were strengthening. If you want a player you go and get them. Look at the quality that West Ham signed, parachute payments or not. If the club say that there is money to be spent what did we spend. Frustrating when one gets so near yet so far every season.

Current players have done a great job to get us where we are now. no complaints at all. A great effort but reinforcements were and are still needed. We can hope !

A disgrace really.

I'd rather focus on our players for now rather than others. Heaton, Quinn, Blake, naylor, kiss, mcphail, ralls, earnie have all had limited game time in recent weeks and all capable at this level, we have a player in every position ready.

we have had a quality season...

a cup final and 3rd in february, as transitional seasons go its been a good one.

i say blood the kids, ralls, mason, harris. lets not forget that naylor did well last time out either. we saw under the previous regime what happens when you neglect youth and banish your squad players

heaton got us to wembley.. quinn is expirenced. earnie hasnt completley lost it

maybe we will sneak over the line.. everyone loves an underdog story
