I agree, interestingly we had more space and time in midfield when we changed formation and had few players in midfield. Mason gave them a question and the space kind of opened up a bit. Sadly our passing was so poor we still wouldnt do anything with the ball.

I agree,the thing is he set up 4-3-3 in the 1st half and we had no time on the ball so done the old hoofball to there center halfs which i dont think we won many 2nd balls off the drop down,They then went 4-4-2 with phillips and bednar comming on and we took off the silver fox who was marking matt phillips most places he went and done good,darcy come on at 1-0 up and that was that.But all in all it was a very poor showing today :ayatollah:

If we look at the threads after the Boro game very similar to tonights.

If the opposing manager has the ammunition and bottle to keep his three up front, up front and not play the jam the midfield game (we always win this) it causes us problems, as our Fullback stay back and we are left with a congested narrow middle.

Holloway had the bottle and ammunition...

Does Malky have a solution ?
