Can't fault the effort today

Looks like we just got tired out there. All the regulars (with the exception of Cowie) looked exhausted after the 60th minute. Great game but for the final 15 minutes.

final 15mins? we was lucky to even get a goal today it was that bad i was watching it even when we was 1-0 up it was total shite and i knew what was comming.

Maybe I should say the final 15 minutes were exceptionally bad and the second half just bad. I thought the first half was pretty even though.

I must have been watching a different game. The first half their goalkeeper did not have to make a save. Things got slightly better in the second half when Mason came on but we created very few chances today.

Its clear that some of the players need a break, but we haven't got a big enough squad for us to make even a few changes to freshen things up a bit.

I don't recall the new addition to the 2011/2012 Football League rules, stating that league points will now be awarded for effort. Or ''pashun''.

We were awful today. The only thing I can put it down to is compacency as the players thought they could just turn up and bag 3 points.

Probably as bad a performance as any under Dave Jones
