the most memorable for me was getting attacked by apples , pears and tangerines outside the bingo hall on the barking road

our coach was coach 1 which was about 2 miles from the ground . we had to walk the furthest so we were the frontline of defence at the time -lol

In 2004 unfortunately our coach was parked on the junction where west ham got done.

However once everyone went to their coaches they sent a few spotters to check out, seen we had about 12 lads in the back of our coach tben next thing about 40 of them just smashed our coach up.

Quite scary at the time I wont lie but after a few disco biscuits and some mayor quimby impressions from city gent the potential of the situation was soon forgotten. :D

that whole situation was very bizarre . remember going to get on the coach and this guy with a grey jacket came over launching fruit at us as we boarded . i could write some stories about that day !

I have posted about this before but I went to the game where we drew 1-1 and Ray Bishop scored. We had a scary walk from the coaches to the ground passing by hundreds of baying West Ham fans. On our return to the coaches virtually all the windows had been smashed and we had to travel back down the M4 in theses window less coaches and it was feking freezing. The lucky ones were the ones lying on the floor hogging the heaters which used to be square boxes on the floor. Dont think they could travel like that these days.
