increasing capacity

Thu Feb 02, 2012 12:33 pm

If the club are serious about this they need to start speaking to the Council and Arriva about the infrastructure - it's chaos as it is getting to and from the game - we need to look at making roads around the ground 1 way on matchdays or some lane switching as on north road, increasing capacity is not sustainable at present

Pointless even considering increasing our capacity when we can't even sell out for big games now lol the ccs should be jam packed week in week out considering the size of our catchment area and the fact we are bang up there in contention for promotion!

Magic daps, you averaged 14000 last season, it is only the part timers that are giving you a full stadium, and if you get relegated they will dissapear, do you agree?

Unfortunately yes. Thing is, if you were to get relegated, do you not think that your attendances would be affected? Not sure exactly what your point is.

His point would be it's ironic that you come on here criticising our level of support when yours is worse. That's my guess anyway!

Yes, but the point is if you got relegated down to the Championship, you would lose that support.

We would have to get relegated down to league 1 to get down to the kind of numbers you were getting in the Championship.

I think that's his point, anyway.

Agreed, jacks average a little under 8,000 less a game in the championship compared to us :o :o

On a level playing field when in the same league, they really can't hold a candle to our attendances. 8-)

Cardiff City vs Crystal Palace
cardiffcityfc
1 - 0
Crystal Palace Football Club
Cardiff City win 3 - 1 on penalties.
Date:
24/01/2012
Venue:
Cardiff City Stadium
Attendance:
25,652
Referee:
Howard Webb

26,00 seater stadium. Hard to see where to put anyone else with the segregation. So in that respect, the jacks have never sold out even in the Prem! ;)

We are going to get to the premeirship now we have proper owner plus a manager that has drive unlike the Ridder and a fat scouse who screwed us for what we were.

The realitiy is that you, being a gypo, are shitting yourself that the status quo is about to happen.....lets see if you are posting next season.

It would take a season or two for both clubs to see what support they would get because of the season tickets sold, and yes our support would drop off as would yours but we would still get bigger crowds than you, the facts are in the last 16 or 17 seasons you have only had an higher average attendance than Cardiff on one occasion :ayatollah:
