I have been reading some of the posts on this board over the last few days, incredulous at the stick some people are dishing out.

As the title says no one is forcing you to read the items on this board, post yourself or read Carl's posts. You are not paying to use the message board, you are not buying a magazine where updates are posted.

The internet has been one of the most amazing inventions in human history but sometimes I feel people should earn the right to use it.

Personally, I'll never slag these updates if they're wrong. I'd be a hypocrite.
Because I cant wait to read them. I know he isnt 100% right, I know he can
get fed duff information, but i choose to read them anyway, and get a bit
excited when certain names are thrown into hats. But i can always wait for
the official site to comment. I have that choice.

I think the problem is that there are a lot of posters now that want everything
RIGHT NOW, never mind that Cardiff City are in an incredible position given
the last three years. For some its not good enough. They make me puke.

So they jump all over Carls positive posts like kids in a sweet shop, they get
dead thrilled and excited that they are getting what THEY want... Then stuff
goes wrong, Carl is wrong, or the Club dont get said players and they need a
vessel to vent their dummy spitting out on. Carl is the obvious target. Carl
or the Malaysians. Not Malky, though i've noticed that lately some knobheads
are even starting to call him a liar and the 'owners puppet' etc etc

You also have certain absolute whoppers who log in every other day as someone
else to have a dig at Carl/Annis/Gwyn/Cardiff City/Malaysians.

A few posters on here now are complete cabbages, im trying to figure out how
I can put them on ignore and get on with SUPPORTING the Club. Maybe a mod
can pm me and tell me how to do it.

P.S. beware posters making their first few posts bringing up debates off this
board from months ago. You got to ask.... how do they know what happened
months ago

with Carl/Annis and everyone else on this board.

I agree with this post - I like Carl's posts and read them with interest, and I don't like the posts that have a go at him, as I've never seen Carl have a go at others in the way some have a go at him.

I do however think that others should be able to be critical, as long as they do so in a courteous way. I treat those posts in the same way that they are being told they should treat Carl's - I don't like them and largely ignore them.

I think perhaps the real problem here is the number of posts that usually follow Carl's posts which compliment him on a fantastic update etc - I suppose for those who don't like Carl, when they perceive that he has not ultimately been accurate, they then try to "make hay while the sun shines" - but it may be the real irritant is not so much Carl as the posts they would see as "brown nosing".

Perhaps I'm wrong on this - I'm not in their camp, as I enjoy reading Carl's posts (and I'm sure they're a major factor in why people read this board with interest), but that may possibly be the reason for the some of the antagonism.

We have to be careful though that people don't become too scared to post anything critical of Carl on here, as that would be the equal error in the opposite extreme to fall into.

I would just say to carl, thanks for the hard work you do, and ignore the people who either over compliment you or are critical of you.

I do, because as soon as we failed to sign loads of players, the snipers appeared and blamed Carl.
Which to me is laughable, but at the same time very sad.
