2 OBSERVATIONS FROM SOUTHAMPTON AWAY

Wed Feb 01, 2012 3:53 pm

First of great point earned by Cardiff to keep us right up there with the leaders we can go top on Saturday if Southampton dont win and West Ham lose-thats a massive achievement by everyone involved at the club :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

My 1st point was the atmosphere-tremendous away support by our fans again, still buzzing from the semi final victory we were in fine voice with wembley tunes and a bit of Bob Marley :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
Saints fan only got behind their team when they were on top in the second half-very disappointing fr a side that could have gone top

And secondly Stephen Mcphail is literally giving everything he has for the team, when he was taken off again he looked completely spent, with all the media attention given to the likes of spoilt brats like Carlos Tevez and wayne rooney its true professionals like Mcphail who make you realise why you love football so much, hes not the most gifted but you cannot ask for more from a player who gives 100% even after a number of serious illness scares

Steeeeeeeeeve Mcphail, Steeeeeeeve Mcphail :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

SM sets a good example to players of all ages. he's a brilliant professional and i think he's gifted...he has quality with his left and right foot and works his backside off for city :ayatollah:

Mcphail is what this team is all about, gives 100% every game, he can do the simple stuff, which a lot of the team is all thats wanted, he makes time for himself, he is a credit to himself and this football club.

I am enjoying this City team more than any, they give 1005, never stop trying and if lose or draw we know they have given everything.

after years of watching him in a city shirt, you have to admit he's one of the best at passing tthe ball and spraying it round. he obviously has a prefered foot but i wouldn't say the other one is bad? come on bowmonster, Mcphail is a fans favourite!
spin round like the magic roundabout  :ayatollah:
