I agree a typical Bates decision sack the guy the morning after the transfer window shuts. I bet he will be making the new manager all sorts of promises about money to spend.

I wouldn't hold my breath on getting any money if I was the new manager though.

Poor decision, I think, but it's no surprise when you realise that Bates still has involvement in the club.

I sometimes find it amusing to see a big club fall, but I would like to see Leeds rise again. I'm not a fan of theirs and I never will be, but Bates has never come across too well and Grayson always has. It seems to me that Grayson did well despite Bates, rather than because of him and the situation with ticketing for away fans and the general treatment of them, is not good for football.

As much as I despise Leeds, I've got to say, I always thought Grayson was a decent manager. That was a silly decision by Bates. Back to League 1 for Leeds where they belong.
