Get over it

Wed Feb 01, 2012 11:26 am

We haven't made big signings like Southampton and Westham that is not a bad thing considering the debt we have. If we did splash the cash and didn't get promoted we would be in trouble again. Why can't we do it the Norwich and Swansea way it's safer in the long run.
Not many people would of thought we would be in 3rd position, 3 points from top of the league and in the carling cup final come February. Considering we lost most of our squad including Bothroyd, Chopra, Bellamy, burke, manager, backroom staff etc, we are doing Amazing.
Fair enough if we got the signings malkey wanted great but we didnt get them so stop moaning and be happy for the players we have who have done great for us and who will play till the final whistle unlike before.
Also we have signed some promising youngsters which means the club is looking to the future rather than getting rid of our youngsters for once. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

swansea brought borini in this time last year in the loan window and look at the impact he had on their season

Steve, Borini came in on loan. I'm sure Malky will pick up his loan targets in the loan window, and we can hopefully immitate that and kick on from there, so I'm with you on this one. We don't rely on loans like last year and if all does go tits up at least we won't lose the core of our team. :ayatollah:

Our current players have done excellent, we are still looking at automatic promotion but 1 or 2 players would have boasted our chances I know. :ayatollah:
