Our supporters have short memories..........

Wed Feb 01, 2012 11:06 am

Cast you mind back two seasons or less we had Peter Ridsdale and the Golden Ticket fiasco, HMRC winding up petition, unpaid bills everywhere and a transfer embargo and most fans feared administration or at worse liquidation :(

Compare that with where we are now bills seem to be getting paid certainly no stories of unpaid creditors with the exception of Langston which seems to be getting resolved. We are 3rd in the Division just 3 points off top and we are in the Final of the Carling Cup which is unbelievable compared to where we were not that long ago :o

However we still have 'fans' moaning because we did not spend money or left it 'too late' in the latest transfer window so now it's all doom and gloom despite the fact we have a Manager & team who do not know the meaning of the word defeat and give 100% until the final whistle in every game they play :ayatollah:

Might just be me but having supported City for over 40 years :old: I consider these to be the good times and we all need to get behind the Manager and the players stop moaning and enjoy the rest of the season Que Sera :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Exactly right fella,
at the end of the day we are still a club in debt and untill eveything is sorted behind the scenes we will not be spending a fortune (in todays over inflated market) we need to be patient and continue bringing in bargains and I am sure we will be a better club in the long run instead of throwing a bucket of money at it (been there and look what nearly happened),

I think you're spot on! Unfortuantely a number of posters on here have only been following City over the last few years and expect continual success. Those who have followed the Bluebirds for years know different!

Agreed and have said the same all along.. we dont have rights to auto promotion and the malaysians had a plan set out when they came in and it wasn't to spend stupid amounts of money and buy our way into the premiership.. Clear the debt, re-build from the bottom up and not just patch things over

Im happy I have a team to watch and dont mind which division we play in coz Ive seen em all apart from the top div and soon to be 2 Cup finals with City ( apart from the dozens of Welsh Cup Finals ) , but the higher better :ayatollah: :D :ayatollah:
