I was on the phone again for 30 mins when the same thing happened, so I thought that I would hold on, the phone was just ringing, so I thought nothing to lose as I had waited 30 mins, low and behold to my suprise a voice, I was just relieved, I re-newed my ST and was told that I will get a second ticket, My grandson wants to go to his first ever game, I am chuffed to bits.
His dad is a Jack and he is pushing him in that direction, my daughter is a City fan so you can imagine the problem we have, I don't try to force him in any direction, it's not fare on him, he will make his own mind up in time.

I just joined the line at ccs, took about half hour, sorted and within the first 10k, my mate who didn't renew this year but has done for donkeys will be chuffed to bits , only problem they opened office at 8, bit crafty as they said 10, I would've been peed of if I missed the boat for there own error, btw the queue was passed the club shop
When I left, get down there, and wrap up warm !!!!!
Wed Feb 01, 2012 11:27 am
Telephone is such a dated way of acquiring tickets.
Wed Feb 01, 2012 11:46 am
i went down there at 10 to 10 and finally got out of there at 5 past 11 but all renewed and secont ticket guarenteed but the que was massive. in all fairness they give you the forms to fill in in the que and then took them off you if you wanted finance options and only renewing season ticket

Wed Feb 01, 2012 1:06 pm
Dont blame the workers, blame the city for employing them ..
Its totally disorgasnised down there, today the pin machine aint working ,, surely they woudl get that sorted at this time ,,,
also telephoned yesterday and waited 15 minutes and as usual the young lad said ,, I dont , Know ..... I said surely some one knows,, and he said dont Know........ I gave up and went down and waited .
Apparently it does not get any better.... blame management,

Christ sake mate he's your grandson for f***s sake, you can not let him go over to the dirty smelly dark side. Fight for him and his future. He will thank you when he is older.
What will he think when he is older and realises his grandfather abandoned him to the gypos?

Some great stuff in the ticket office but sadly some bloody awful staff who don't give a shit either.
It seems fair to laid back when I've ever gone into the ticket office, a lack of professionalism at times.
I'm not even going to bother trying to phone, I'll do it by post

Here we go again. Every time a big game comes up we get fans moaning about the ticket office and/or the club. I have never had any problems with the ticket office. I took a day out of my holidays today, travelled 15 miles and was at the ground by 9am even though the club had been said they were not open until 10am. Sometimes you have to put yourself out and not sit back and blame the club. The lovely surprise was that the ticket office was already open when I got there. It's too easy to the blame the club/ticket office. If you want something's badly enough you sometimes have to make that extra effort.

Don't blame the staff. This is obviously just the phone system dropping calls when it's put under pressure. The girls there won't even be aware that your call was lost so can hardly blame them for that. It's not their fault it's a shit phone system.

My favourite experience was down the old ticket office in Ninian, went to re-new my ST with a mate, i paid by card so all was good.....my mate went to give the guy cash and he said "I'm not sure if we accept that" to which my mate said "what...cash? you don't know whether you accept cash??" the lad then told us he would have to check before wandering off, returning looking a bit sheepish with the answer "yes, we do accept cash" i was laughing for at least an hour and still makes me chuckle to this day

Did that really happen? Honestly? They had two massive safe's in the ticket office. Both of them were massive things that got in the way of everyone. The one was in a room where the staff made their tea etc. I'll post photos of them at some point. Both those safe's were there solely for keeping CASH!!!

Glad I'm not the only person who thought this!

The ticket office has always been a joke. Thought it would have been sorted out with the new stadium but somethings never change. Its run by a bunch of fools , get a decent Manger and staff and sort the stewards out. Its holding our club back , get with the times ffs.

I've tried Eticketing a number of times and have given up on it.
Can you renew interest free online? If so I may try.

Unfortunately I can't afford to do that.

I went down this afternoon, queued for about 15 mins and renewed 6 season tickets using interest free option. Easy. By the way I found the ticket office to be excellent, very helpful and very quick turn around people in and out constantly
Thu Feb 02, 2012 3:56 pm
I'm banned from the office and unless someone gets me a ticket i couldn't give a shite if I never see City play live at the CCS ever again.
I'm good for West Wank so cool their!
Away games?
Grand, not a bother!
