Let's list the positives

Wed Feb 01, 2012 7:22 am

Because god knows, there's loads of them!

1. We are 3rd in the league
2. We are only 3 points off the top of the league
3. We are in a major cup final
4. We now know that the board was willing to back MM to the tune of £3 million
5. We have a new director put in place to sort out historical debts ( I assume)
6. We didn't sell any of our first team, special praise for fending off Whitts poachers.
7. We are an attractive prospect for loan signings being in the position we are (even more so for non cup tied players)
8. We have a highly motivated and professional manager

That's not a bad start, feel free to add more!

I was disappointed when Barry Mac posted we'd be signing no more players after the game yesterday but the futures bright!

we should look at the calibre of player malky was trying to sign a couple of youngsters with who he could work with and mould into potential premiership players.
balance that against what west ham signed and the two strikers they signed are just average championship players who he has now signed on 2.5 year deals who if they get promoted will be of little use to him and the boy morrison was constantly in trouble with the authorities in manchester so london should calm him down
Billy sharp signed by southampton is a championship striker at best and the same would apply to him as maynard if they went up .
Let malky get on with the job in hand as to date i cant fault anything he has done and it was a well known fact that he would not pay over the odds for players.
to my knowledge we did not bid for mackie at all and the lesson to be learnt here is that sometimes clubs put bogus information out to the press to distract people from the real targets as we saw with sordell.

Excellent points there Steve. Malky is building for the future, Sordell is 20, Noone 24 I think and Kadeem is a pup.

Malky and the Malaysians are building this club from the ground up!

f**k me, a positive post amongst so much drivel on here lately :(
get real and remember following city has always been thus, yes were on an upward slope , but lets just make hay while the sun shines on us, cos it can all change :old:
Ill always follow tho, cos 40years being a fan has taught me that there are always ups and downs and ins and outs of personnel, but the brand is the same, for me it always says cardiff born and bred,
ATM we are competitive and play with passion and grit, still unsure of the style of play on the eye, but yes the club has made massive strides this season so credit to all involved. I :ayatollah:
