New transfers - What happened?

Tue Jan 31, 2012 11:19 pm

I'm sure someone said on here the other day that we had three medicals booked for this week. What happened? Did two of them fail them?

Not too worried like, we could possibly end up top of the table on Saturday, we got a good team and I'm sure we will bring a loan or two in the next couple of weeks. :D

Like you I am also wondering what happened.
I am also sure that the current squad is strong enough for us to get promotion, with a bit of luck.

But, it's time we all woke up and smelled the coffee.

Making offers for players for one third of their value and telling supporters "we will not overpay" is just bullshit.

All they are doing is trying to convince fans that they have money to spend.

Better to come out at he beginning of the window and say we go with what we have unless an opertunity comes along.

Anyway, enough of my rant.

It's tie to support the boys.......

Have to disagree with that, I really don't think our current owners are the type that would make offers just to look good. They don't have to pretend they have money, they are extremely rich, they could blow millions, but I am glad they aren't. We've been down that road before and where did it get us? Owing millions to a crazy lebanese b*stard who pretends it's owed to a mysterious third party
As far as the club coming out and saying "we go with what we got unless an opportunity comes along" well that's exactly what we have done. And no one from the club promised we were signing any players anyway.

Agree with the last bit though :ayatollah:
