Just back from Southampton

Tue Jan 31, 2012 10:57 pm

Not the greatest performance. Just edged the 1st half and went in ahead-Miller had a reasonably easy chance to make it 2-0. 2nd half we were poor but battled hard. We were lucky not too concede a penalty when Taylor brought down Lalana. 2 minutes later the ball hit mcnaughton on arm (hands not raised) and ref pointed to spot. Rest of game we clung on with a resilient display.

The fans were great tonight-2000 or so on a tuesday night is fantastic. :ayatollah:

Southampton are a good team but take Lalana and Lambert out and they would be midtable.
