500 mb mobile internet limit - help!!

Just about to take out a contract for a new phone and this is the internet download limit per month allowed. I've got wireless virgin internet in the house to download apps etc so I will only go on the net in work etc. How long will this last? Is it enough?
I have no idea !!!!

Should be ok as long as you download the larger apps at home on your wifi.
I use about 300mb a month out of my 500mb allowance.
Web browsing doesn't use much it's downloading that does and watching videos etc

Just stay off YouTube

T-Mobile finally enticed me off my truly unlimited mobile broadband and onto a 500 mb tariff.

It lasted my half a month. too much tvcatchup and live BBC I player for the tennis.

They don't stop your browsing though so not too concerned.

I got 500mb On my iPhone . I also got wifi at home and use my phone a lot at work , . I did go over one month but that was coz I was streaming radio 1 for about 20 hours lol cost me about £17 extra on my bill . So as long as u dOnt download big files or stream radio or films it will be fine

I'm on 3 network and they offer all you can eat on Internet...
I've been hoping all day between sky go twitter and this site as well as a few other sites...
Wouldn't been able to do with 500mb.

With 3 as well on all you can eat and I have stopped using WiFi at home as most of the time my 3 download speed is faster. A must have if you have a smartphone as everything is web based now and 500mb is crap in this day and age.

If you just use yor fone for browsing the net and coming on messageboards like this one then 500mb is plenty, but if yor using it to download porn an tha, then it won't last you! Should have played it safe and got unlimited internet use!
