THE JANUARY (winter) TRANSFER WINDOW SHOULD BE SCRAPPED!

personally I see it as a crazy time through the season, where clubs over exaggerate their players values, and others tend to make some rash and hasty decisions/signings. It should be scrapped IMO.
Just either use the Summer transfer window and thats it, or have a completely FREE OPEN transfer policy all the way through the season! Although if you use the FREE OPEN transfer policy, and you for example - buy/acquire a striker then you should also sell or lose a striker too, to keep numbers the same (eg 25 man squads!)
Waste of time if you ask me. Clubs should be forced into playing their younger players, and more home grown talent as well as other fringe players. If you want to prepare your team properly either of the above mentioned methods would be my choice.

I'm not so sure to be honest, I'd rather goal line technology was introduced first though. But I kinda like the january transfer window (despite our "ability to sign" in it )

Arsene Venger was moaning about loan players the other day as well. That all loan deals should not be allowed for anyone over 21yrs old.
He wasn't happy with the situation of the Bellamy to Cardiff and Smith to MK Dons etc etc - I suppose he does have a good point, the loan market should soley be for the improvement program for youth players. When Smith can go to MK Dons on a £60k a week fee being paid by Newcastle seems a tad wrong! I'm not going to moan about Bellamy coming to Cardiff but It is a bit of a shitty policy if you ask me.
