What do you mean "we" own our stadium? Unless you own a shit load of shares in CCFC, you don't own anything of the sort. I however, as a Swansea council tax payer do have a share in our city's football venue. It's a stadium for the people of the city and county of Swansea, payed for by the people of the city and county of Swansea.

I can just imagine the furore if Cardiff City Council tried to fund our stadium fromCouncil Tax funds, it was bad enough trying to get planning permission out of them

Was your capacity based on tax payers actually paying? Would appear evident judging by the size. Then the naming liberty seems quite inappropriate, should it not be called limited?

I'm quite sure the powers that be regret not building a larger capacity stadium. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. However if you'd said at the time that the liberty was being built that the swans would be playing in the premier league within 7yrs, and could potentially attract crowds of 25,000 upwards, people would have looked at you daft.
Aesthetically, the liberty is perhaps not as pleasing as some other stadiums, but at least it doesn't look like a child built it out of lego blocks.
