friend has asked me to post this topic ........

a friend who is a viewer of this but wont sign up for what ever reason, was talking to me about a hour ago, and asked me to make a topic regarding all the "wreath for mike dye" "something for mike dye" ect

we understand that he lost his life, and was a friend to most of the forum members, and its only fair people want to do something at wembley for him. however he said, that this year there have been many people who have died who supported cardiff and have not even made it to be menitoned on this board never mind a mention at wembley,

one of which was his family member who died in Afghan/iraq wasnt sure which he said, but said, he died fighting for his country and didnt even see a mention on this board, however every fan on here went out of their way to make a big deal on mike dye, who sadly also passed but wanted to know would there be any special wreath or flag for those who arent alive for the wembley game that where bluebirds.

i hope this does not offend anyone, and like i said, i have written this on behalf of a friend

the reason a fuss was made over mike dye because he died at a football match in a violent way.

Ahh the old friend of a friend thing ! Haha dont worry about people bashing you mate .. But i have to agree with you it was tragic what has happend and orher fans have died and have not had the same reaction ..but you have to remember mike dye was a member of this forum and very close with many members on here thats why he had such a reaction and it was the member/friends of his that organised everything for him ... Its not that he was getting special treatment .. It was that he was a friend to many on here thats why it was more noticable :ayatollah:

plus soldiers and such get honoured many times throught the year, maybe not at football matches but at memorial services.. As said above he died at a match and his mates just want him honoured at a game he would've been at
