Honestly the Pro Bowl is a big joke over here. The NFC vs AFC, it is an all-star game. The fans vote for which players get on the first team and the players fill out the rest of the roster.

It is an honor but so many of the players decline their invitation you sometimes have guys who do not really deserve it playing. No one wants to get hurt in the Pro Bowl so neither team plays full force. The only reason they have for going is that the game is in Hawaii every year.

You hit the nail on the head. Many players have clauses in their contracts which trigger cash payments for making the pro bowl and it is an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii, but most of the best players turn down the offer to actually play in the game. It is very different than your typical NFL game.
