Now the hard stuff begins, trying to convince Craig Noone.

Does he leave Brighton, a club which hes settled in, with a new stadium, recently got promoted, and pushing for play offs to reach the premier league. Or does he opt for South Wales, who have been pushing for promotion and finished in the top half for the past 4 seasons

In terms of facilities, I dont think there is much difference between Brighton and Cardiff.....so the question to be asked is, how does Malky convince Noone to join us?

We can offer first team football- but so can Brighton, where hes been playing regularly apart from the injury he sustained.
More wages- depends what hes on at Brighton
Potential of linking with Joe Mason again from his playing days at Plymouth

And lets be serious, this isnt going to be easy in my opinion, agreeing terms with Brighton in regards to player fee was one obstacle to overcome, agreeing terms and persuading the player to join us will be tough.

And fair play to you Carl, you got everything right in regards to naming the player ......but in my opinion, this signing could be very tough one to get.....if we do sign him......much deserved credit will have to goto Malky in trying to get the player to play for us, believe in his philosophy and style of play and to sell the club to Noone.

Do you honestly think players arent sounded out about a move before any offer is made? Clubs will find out if the player is interested before they make any sort of offer. Obviously Noone has already indicated hes open to discuss the move.

Noone knew weeks ago that Cardiff were interested - and has stayed professional throughout the whole enquiry even remaining to this day to stay silent on it (especially on twitter) until he has at least spoken to the club/manager of CCFC.

This goes along way to show what a great attitude the kid has and why Malky is interested in him. If it comes off tomorrow, I will be very happy to see Noone, a player that Brighton fans rate highly, become a Cardiff City player. Brighton will make a good deal of profit on the lad if it goes through, and will be able to strengthen in areas that they need to attend to before the dead line. There is rumour that Sam Vokes has signed on loan for the rest of the season there as well. ??
