Notice most of Boyds goals are in and around the 6 yard area a real sniffer

Kris Boyd is a goalscorer, his record for Kilmarnock & Rangers speaks for itself. He also has a reasonable return for Scotland and an impressive spell at Forest on loan from Middlesboro where it didn't work out for him.
His partnereship with Kenny Miller was a joy to watch. They fed off each other and Miller set up so many of his goals.
However, I honestly don't believe Boyd has the workrate that Malky demands from his players. He is not the sort to chase back 50 yards like Miller would.
I just can't see him with us, though if he did come in then I'd be excited as well as interested to see how Malky would use him.

I Was told today that Kris Boyd was in South Wales last week and met up with Kenny Miller.
Any news up north of where Boyd will be playing his football next month

Rangers seem to be the favs to sign him.

There hasn't been much in the press Tony. I know he knocked back a deal in the MLS last week. I would expect to him to end up back at Ibrox to be honest though he may feel he has unfinished business in the Championship.
In other news Kenny Miller has finally sold his house up here and has settled well in South wales according to the Scottish press!!!!

I think there's a couple still to be found mate. Malky's northerners will be working hard, I believe he's also had his father out scouting for him!
Hearts are worth raiding for Templeton & Stevenson. They have turned down bids for Stevenson who went on strike over the wages row. I read that Crawley are interested in him - splashing the cash again.
There's a load of younger players who I think could grow into players. Celtic v Falkirk should be a good watch, Falkirk seem to have a good young side of grafters along with the often mentioned by me Morrocan up front.
