To be really fair to them, they did make something like 10 changes to their starting line-up (I think).

the only one i noticed was the goalkeeper that keeps on saving their arse wasn't playing.

even though there was talk of a bigger club snapping him up

Only Ashley Williams played from the team that played in the last Premier League game.

And Vorm can't go anywhere in this transfer window as he played 1 game for FC Utrecht at the start of this season and you can't play for 3 clubs in one season.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Wrong, teams *can* sign Vorm. They just can't play him.

If I was Tottenham I'd snap him up and loan him back to Swansea for the rest of the season.

They also hit the post twice and the bar twice! Had to bring Graham and Dyer on to try and save the game! Even Graham headed against the bar, also Pratley hit a post as well..... Cant' really say they weren't trying - Like they said about us in the week - with the amount of chances we had, should have at least burried the majority of them!

Uchhhhh Ummmm..... #BackFired!

Bigger club snapping their keeper up?

That only whittles it down to a choice of about 50 clubs in UK then

Indeed. But in reality that won't happen.

He will of course be gone in the summer though.

Why not? You see it happen all the time.

Because a) we can't have more than two players on loan from Premier League clubs and we already have two and, b) you're not allowed to have more than one player on loan from another Premier League club and we already have Caulker from Spurs.

That's why it can't happen.

Fine they should just sign him and leave you without a goalkeeper :D

I think you'll find they'd need our agreement to do that

Nah, all they have to do is mouth off to the media about how much they'd be willing to up his wages and how he'd be their first choice keeper for years t come in a team that's likely to stay in the top years for quite awhile.

Even if he didn't sign it'd still be like having no goalkeeper as he'd be useless to you then.

Not really as it's pretty much accepted that he'll be gone in the summer so there's very little in it for him to move now and waste 6 months of his career while he's in the process of showing everyone how good he is.

Yeah I think we can both agree I'm clutching at straws here at this point

Where is he heading then? Rumours are clearly linking him with Chelsea and Man Utd. In fairness from what i have seen he is better than De Gea and Cech (Cech was the best until his head injury).

wITH OUT DOUBT A VERY GOOD KEEPER, who shines through the way the jacks play, quick on his feet ect, put him in front of stoke, bolton even liverpool he would be nowhere as effective.

Not having a go, he is class for the jacks, but i doubt he would cut at a bigger club.. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

No idea tbh. The only thing that may stop him going to a top 4/5 club is his size. By modern day standards he's not very big and therefore doesn't command his box as well as some.

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see him go to Chelsea.

I'd be willing to put a fiver on Tottenham. They're goalies what 41? He's probably not going to last much longer than his current contract and Vorm would be a good replacement.

Friedel signed a two year contract in the summer I think and has performed well this season so it may be a year too soon for them. Although I'd be more than happy is Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd entered a bidding war

But on reflection I think he'll go to Barcelona to replace Victor Valdes as he'd fit right in with the Barca style of play ;)

Still even with a year left on his contract Spurs would still want to get Vorm sooner rather than later if he's a target for them.

I can't see him signing for Man U as they've got two pretty good goalkeepers even if de Gea is a few years early.
